Excuse the title! But actually lately I am a little potty for pottery, I'd rather buy a new serving platter than a pair of jeans.
So in my very old Levi jeans I recently spent a long weekend in Provence, south of France. Provence is well known for it's olives, wine, windy weathered landscape, cookery and ceramics.
I personally love the olive trees in provence which create a wonderful blanket of colour to a sandy background view, olive tree leaves are such a beautiful shade of green, like prada green used to be and when the season comes, each tree is dappled with the colour of olives.
So after a slow start to Sunday with a long coffee in the sunshine, in a quiet Provencal village, I was reluctantly dragged into a shop called 'La table de Margot', lucky for me I am easily led!
Well as soon as I walked I was transported to pottery heaven!
The colours, the finishes, the shapes...all beautiful. I went for the white one on the top shelf. But I could have taken one of each really.
I am always a fan of a splash of red or orange in any interiors, pottery is no different.
So I want to share my love of ceramics with you and Notonthehighstreet has such a great selection, at all prices. I spend a lot time online browsing the good and the great of what's new in homewares. Notonthehighstreet is a must go to site for pottery.
You'll have to agree that this small selection of cermaics wets the appetite!
